1. Take charge — put your name in as organizer (top of this page). You can play too; just sign up below like everyone else.
2. Set the tourney up — open ⚙️ Tourney setup above: singles, doubles, or teams; single or double elimination; how many boards are free; the buy-in and how many places it pays — and if the bar is sweetening the pot, the house kick-in per signup (it shows up everywhere the pot does). Want a signup cutoff? Start the timer ("close in 30 min") or set a clock time — a countdown shows here and on the TV, and signups shut themselves at zero.
3. Get everyone signed up — the tablet just goes to tourney.betterdarts.ai (it lands right here). Hand it around; each player types their name and taps their skill level. That's their whole signup. The roster and pot build below. Put the TV on tourney.betterdarts.ai/display.
4. Work the roster — on your phone, open tourney.betterdarts.ai/admin: tap mark paid as money comes in (a green $ shows by their name here), mark ♀ ladies to keep them spread across teams, and give set partners matching numbers (Steve 1 + Cole 1, Todd 2 + Stewy 2) then Save partner groups.
5. Make the teams — tap Generate Teams. Signups lock and the TV spins the draw like a slot machine. Wrong draw, or someone walked in late? Undo draw reopens signups keeping every player, payment, and partner lock.
6. Start the bracket — matches get called to boards automatically. Got spare phones or screens? Point them at tourney.betterdarts.ai/board/1, /board/2… and hang one by each board — each shows its own current match.
7. Run the matches — the admin page shows what's on each board; when a match ends, tap who won and the next match is called up. Tapped the wrong team? Undo it under Recent results (until a later match has been played).
8. Champion! — fireworks, and the payouts are on the screen (1st/2nd/3rd with each player's cut). Settle up, then Reset tourney on the admin page — it asks twice, then everything's fresh for next time.
